Theoretical and experimental research on the use of hydrogen in the automotive spark ignition engine

چکیده

Abstract Reducing the level of pollutant emissions internal combustion engines requires adaptation solutions that improve process in cylinder but those may increase their constructive complexity. For this reason, use hydrogen is an effective solution, both for replacing fossil fuels and reducing concentration emissions. The as additional fuel automotive spark ignition offers possibility obtaining increased energy performance, decreased greenhouse gas paper presents results some theoretical experimental investigations carried on engine, analysing influence implicitly performance pollution. simulation thermo-gas-dynamic processes engine fed successively with gasoline/gasoline hydrogen, allowed authors to develop a specific efficient procedure conducting investigations. research obtained presented highlight advantages using additive gasoline fuelling automobile engine: improvement (reduction duration, indicated thermal efficiency, reduction consumption) polluting emission gases. An adjustment strategy sharp nitrogen oxides also presented.
